Amanda practices civil litigation, construction and family law. She has worked on a number of cases ranging from complex matrimonial proceedings, construction lien litigation and protracted contract disputes. Amanda delivers a personalized and compassionate approach in order to effectively resolve the legal disputes of each of her clients in a way that meets their needs and exceeds their expectations.

Amanda earned an Honours B.A. in 2010 from York University’s Law and Society Program and graduated from the University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Law in 2015. While in law school, she competed in the Nelligan O’Brian Payne Moot Competition and was highly regarded by the judges for her excellent oral advocacy skills.

Prior to law school, Amanda worked in the construction industry for a private residential land developer and homebuilder. She acquired unique skills and specialized knowledge which have proven to be particularly useful when resolving construction litigation disputes.

Amanda has successfully argued a number of complex motions and has experience conducting Trials before the Ontario Superior Court. Amanda has obtained Judgments in excess of $1,000,000.000. Amanda has also appeared before the Ontario Court of Appeal and was recently successful in upholding a Judgment in excess of $500,000.00.

Amanda enjoys giving back to her community and is strong proponent of volunteerism. For nearly ten years, she has volunteered with For the Love of a Child, a charitable organization dedicated to assisting families of children with special needs. Amanda is committed to giving back to her community and bettering the lives of those around her.

As a food enthusiast, Amanda enjoys trying new recipes and exotic dishes. She considers herself a movie and pop culture buff and is always up for a night of trivia with family and friends. When she’s not at the office, Amanda enjoys singing karaoke, catching up on the latest Netflix series and the occasional yoga class.
