Area of Practice & Background

Michael was called to the Ontario Bar in 2018 and has since gained experience in Family Law Litigation and Corporate Law practice. He obtained his LL.B from Nigeria in 2010, where he practiced for over four years as a litigation lawyer in Banking, Insolvency, Commercial and Capital Market disputes.

Michael is a meticulous, persistent and dedicated advocate with experience assisting clients before courts, administrative panels and arbitration tribunals.

Community support and involvement is important to him. As such, Michael has volunteered with the Ontario Justice Education Network as a project facilitator in Youth-Police Dialogue Sessions, and as a case worker for the Ticket Defense Program, supporting the legal defence of homeless and street involved persons in Ottawa.

In his down time, Michael enjoys forensic crime shows, his acoustic guitar and hiking trips.
